New local RPG publisher begins accepting setting concepts
Over the last couple months, I've been forming a new game publishing company. bySwarm is a game publishing company with the goal of creating games using the community, called the Swarm in this case. Anyone is welcome to contribute as little or as much as they want whether it be writing, illustration, ideas, or just giving feedback on what other people submit.
Our first project is to build a role-playing game setting. The project will have three phases. First will be to choose a setting concept to serve as the guiding document for the creation of the setting. The second will be to choose a rules system to go with the setting so that we can include mechanics and stat blocks as appropriate. Finally, we will begin the actual work of building the setting.
We just opened the site for the first phase and are now accepting setting concept submissions. By going to the site at byswarm.com, you can register (or just login via Facebook) to begin participating. There are a lot of reasons to participate so be sure that you check out the About page to see what bySwarm offers to game designers, writers, illustrators, GMs, and players.
