The Dooms Bay fantasy frontier saga continues in and around Dvorkin's Reach at the eastern edge of civilization. February 9th, 2010 we had 6 active characters, including the return of the Mighty Quinn, but the party needs someone to play a healer!
The party continues to struggle through dangerous times in dangerous lands where savage creatures are eager to drive the "civilized" people back into the sea, while others wait on both sides to exploit all.
For existing players, preferably be at the table, character in hand, ready to play(!) 6pm-10pm, every other Tuesday evening at the Gopher. I usually have pencils, scratch paper, and an assortment of basic figs; but I encourage YOU to have your own kit suitable for playing YOUR character.
For new players, preferably have a 1st level character ready to play(!) 6pm - 10pm, every other Tuesday evening at the Gopher. If you are brand new and don't have access to books and/or the character builder software, you're welcome to contact Dave (owner of the Gopher) and/or me to try to get together and have you ready to go. Here are the basics:
Generate ability scores as per standard array or point buy (PHB pgs. 17-18).
Select races from PHB and PHB2 (no Eberron, Manual of the Planes, Monster Manual, etc..., but other material such as PHB3 released in Character Builder is open for discussion with the GM).
Select classes from PHB, PHB2, Arcane Powers, Divine Powers, Martial Powers and Primal Powers (no Forgotten Realms, but other material such as PHB3 released in Character builder is open for discussion with the GM).
Start with standard clothing and 100 GP to purchase equipment (PHB pg 210).
