GopherDave's picture

Hey all...

It's release day and Innistrad has been dumped upon us like a nickel-filled tube sock to the skull! So, one of tonight's FNM Events is a Sealed Tournament using packs of Innistrad!

Details

  • The cost for this event will be $25.
  • Each participant will be given six (6) packs of Innistrad.
  • In addition to the FNM prize foils (1 for each member of the top two players, plus two random door prizes), prize support will be packs of Innistrad, divided out based on the number of players there are. Also among the door prizes will be some random things that GopherDave throws in.
  • The format will be multi-round Swiss-style.

Beyond that... leave a comment below to officially sign up.

Looking for Pathfinder Society Game Masters

KnightErrantJR's picture

Hello all.  If you aren't aware of it, the Pathfinder Society is Paizo's organized play system for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5  (which will convert to Pathfinder Roleplaying Game in August, which will still follow the 3.5 rules fairly closely).  Players create characters that adventure all over Paizo's Pathfiinder Campaign Setting, with persistant characters that can gain levels and be used in other Pathfinder Society games at other venues.

So far I've had a lot of fun running PFS events, but I've had some interest in running more events than I can handle.  If you are a GM that has any interest in organized play environments, and you have enough familiarity with the 3.5 rules that you feel comfortable GMing for a wide range of potential players from different backgrounds, as well as being able to adjudicate situations on the fly, please consider giving the PFS a try.

You can find more information about the Pathfinder Society here:

http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety

I'm currently acting as the de facto PFS coordinator at Armored Gopher, and even if I pick up a GM or two, I'll gladly continue in that role.  I'll be printing out all of the Chronicles needed to track the sessions, player's handouts, and I'll be entering the events into Paizo's database from the very minimal tracking sheet that the session GM has to fill out.

Once I get some interest, then we can talk about your availability and together we can figure out when the fine folks at AGG might be able to slot in a few more events to better serve those interested in the PFS.

If you are interested in this, feel free to post here or e-mail me through the site.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you, and thanks for your time.

Max figs per card in con 3?

joeshill's picture

Does anyone remember if there is a maximum number of figs that you can have on a card in Confrontation 3?

(Don't have my book handy.  Trying to make army of Goblins.)

Thanks!

Chris

Where is everyone?

RoboSmurf's picture

So does anyone play Confrontation besides Chris and Me(Stephen)? I know the Squirrel is not in on Thursdays and Tim has Class but no one else shows.

Chris and I have been playing AoR regularly and we have to general rules down pretty well and Chris has got alot of the finer consepts down. Thats how I rationalize me losing all the time.

If anyone wants a game on the weekends drop me a message here.
